Module 4: Health
“The body is what we use to experience the world. It is our emotion-driven machine and how we process and create the life of our dreams.”
Food Protocol and Nutrition
Nutrition is our relationship with food and our animal body.
Most people have no relationship with food at all, they just eat.
A relationship is a thought (Module 2).
When you ‘just eat whatever, whenever’, you have no relationship with food or how your body processes energy.
People have a dysfunctional relationship with food.
Due to misguided thinking, all kinds of dysfunctional behaviors manifest around feeding and nourish our bodies.
Food is a circumstance.
Like all circumstances, it is neutral.
It is the way we think about food that creates the relationship we have with it.
Nutrition is a part of how we take care of our organic machine, the body.
You don’t have to have a degree in nutrition or cellular biology to know how to feed your body.
All you need is to understand that your body is an animal and maintain a functional relationship with your animal and your mind.
Animals eat for sustenance, not for pleasure.
Animals eat to nourish and grow muscles, bones, and organs; not to pack on body fat (unless your an animal that hibernates, but humans are not).
When have a healthy relationship between your body and your mind, you will know how to feed.
Nutrition is not the same for all people, however, there are some things that are the same for all people.
Nutrition and food protocols are a combination of thought, emotion, and action.
Physical health around nutrition is your relationship (thoughts) about food.
Your behavior (actions) around food is the manifestation (symptom) of your relationship (thoughts).
Watch the video below for more information on nutrition, food protocols, how nutrition varies for people and what is constant for all people, and what you can do to get started on an Alpha food protocol.

Self-Study Assignment for Module 4, Day 1
In your notebook, continue to do a thought download every day this week using a circumstance of your choice to focus on. After finishing your thought download, do a model on two thoughts from your download (two models).
Creating a food protocol requires one-on-one coaching because it’s a combination of thought and action. There is the relationship with food AND the changing of the feeding protocol. If you are interested in this, contact me about food protocol creation.
In your notebook, answer the questions:
Have you ever been on a food protocol (diet) before?
Did it work? Why or why not?
Was it difficult? Why or why not?
When your food protocol ended, what happened?
Why do you think you got the results that you did?
Why do you think things changed after your food protocol ended?
What is your relationship with food?
Your relationship with food is all of your thought about food – write them down.
Do you think you have a functional or dysfunctional relationship with food?
Why (give specific example or either or both)?
Why do you think you eat food?
How many times a day do you eat? Why?
Are there any foods you restrict (not eat)? Why or why not?
Do you currently keep track of how much food you eat (in calories or grams)? Why or why not?
Do you pay attention to which and how much macronutrients you eat a day? Why or why not?
Are there times you eat when you’re not hungry? Why or why not?

Can you tell the difference in your body? Why or why not?
